The location of the lockers on the first floor aligns with the public entrance of the building along John McCormack Road. The renovation of this space provides an opportunity to improve the first impression to visitors as well as current and prospective students, faculty, and staff.
The project is located at the crossroads of activity on the first floor, connecting the parking garage, Office of Career and Professional Development, Columbus Community Legal Services, and the student lounge. This area of high traffic provides an opportunity to create a strong identity for Catholic Law's Centers and Institutes as a significant part of the Law School. The consolidated Centers and Institutes is imagined as a combination of shared and assigned spaces, including reception, meeting spaces, multimedia studios, and offices.
The renovation is planned to:
- Create identity and branding for Catholic Law's Centers and Institutes.
- Provide an attractive first public impression to Catholic Law's building.
- Create an attractive and inviting space for students to visit, fostering a sense of community.
- Provide technologically-adept spaces to meet current and future needs, which will include a media and production studio.
- Install cherry-veneer day lockers for student use in and around the student lounge.
This page is designed to share updates on the construction with the Catholic Law community. Below you will find photographs and notes, which will be updated as the project moves forward.
