Catholic Law's Professor Chad Squitieri served as an amicus curiae in a brief submitted to the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. The brief, authored by Jason Hilborn and Evan Ezray of Boies Schiller Flexner LLP, explores the legal ramifications of the Supreme Court's 1935 decision in Humphrey's Executor, which concerned the President's constitutional removal authority.

Professor Squitieri serves as the Director of the Separation of Powers Institute and a Managing Director for the Center for the Constitution and the Catholic Intellectual Tradition. His scholarship focuses on the Constitution's separation-of-powers principles, among other topics.
