JULIE RAPOPORT SCHENKER (Health Law Compliance) – Ms. Schenker is Senior Staff Counsel, Business and Litigation for the University of Maryland Medical System Office of the General Counsel, where she handles a range of health care related legal matters. Previously, Ms. Schenker was a litigation associate with Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP, where her practice focused on health care enforcement and compliance matters, other white collar defense and investigations, and related litigation.  She has represented health care provider clients in investigations by the U.S. Department of Justice and the Department of Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General, and she has experience advising clients with respect to a variety of health law and Foreign Corrupt Practice Act compliance matters, including U. S. Department of Justice and U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission investigations.
