For the sixth year running, first-year law students broke bread with faculty members and senior staff at an annual luncheon in the law school's Keelty Atrium, a relaxed and informal occasion that provides an opportunity for everyone in the law school community to get to know one another better. Having completed one semester and deep into the workload of a second, the luncheon is a short break for students from the rigors of study, a light exercise in camaraderie-building for the first year class. The group was welcomed with brief remarks and a blessing from CUA Law Dean Daniel F. Attridge, who suggested that the gathering was a perfect example of the law school's commitment to the concept of "connected."

During lunch, trivia questionnaires were distributed among the 15 full tables, marking the start of the highlight of the yearly meal. Working as a group, each table discussed, guessed, and argued over answers to some tricky trivia questions, such as:

Two tables tied for the win, with 11 of 12 correct answers. They were awarded baseball caps as prizes. As a bonus category, "House of Cardinals," otherwise known as table 6, won for most creative team name.
