On November 14, 2015, a group of CUA Law students, Whitney Morgan (2L), Caitlin Conroy (3L), Joseph Doukmetzian (3L), Molly O'Conor (3L), Travis Drost (3L), Shannon McGovern (3L), Rebecca Neville (3L), Richard Kisielowski (3L), Mike Dinet (3L), and Melissa Soares (3L), headed into Ivy City ( just a few minutes away from campus) to provide much needed help on a project with Habitat for Humanity of Washington, D.C. (DC Habitat).

The CUA Law students began their projects at 8:15 a.m. and finished their day around 3:30 p.m. The students worked on various projects, which included installing dry wall, staining fences, and putting up siding. When asked about the project Mike Dinet said, "It is not easy to get a group of law students to give up a full Saturday in November with exams and final projects quickly approaching. Fortunately, a desire to help others in need is one of the many things that makes CUA Law students unique. Projects like this provide a much needed break from school work and also give students an opportunity to build relationships with each other and with the local community."
