On October 21, 2017, through the generosity of alumnus Daniel Kane '16, a group of CUA Law students attended a panel discussion hosted by the American Inns of Court on the importance of civility in the legal profession.

The event featured Associate Justice Neil Gorsuch and the Honorable Deanell Reece Tacha of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit (Ret.). The program, entitled, National Conversation on Civility, offered the students the opportunity to meet Justice Gorsuch and Judge Tacha. The students were also able to connect with members of the legal profession concerned with the critically important issue of how lawyers and judges interact with one another in contemporary legal practice.
