CUA Law MNSLA Runs Army Ten Miler
On October 7, 2018, MNSLA participated in the Army's annual Army Ten-Mile Race and Expo. The race started and ended at the Pentagon, but also extended throughout D.C. and the national mall. The event attracted over 35,000 runners and 900 teams from around the world. Participants included military, civilians, wheel chair athletes and wounded warrior athletes.
Now in its 34th year, over 420,478 runners have run ATM since its inception in 1985. ATM is a category-B Army Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) event open to the public. All race proceeds benefit MWR programs. To date, ATM has generated over $7.3 million for Army MWR.
"The route is a lot of fun because it is lined with soldiers, spectators, and Army bands so everyone is motivated and happy to run," Erin Luibrand (2L) said.
