Catholic Law Professors Megan La Belle and Heidi M. Schooner added insight and professional expertise as discussion group participants at the 2020 Association of American Law Schools (AALS) Annual Meeting. On January 5, La Belle and Schooner participated in a discussion group, Fintech Innovations, in which participants discussed various issues related to fintech lending. La Belle and Schooner focused on bank patent activity, questioning whether the increasing use of technology is causing banks to act like tech companies in regards to patent litigation.
