On January 31, Catholic Law Professor Mary Graw Leary attended the Louisiana Law Review Symposium at Louisiana State University. The program entitled, “We the Jury: Conversations on the American Jury Past, Present, and Future,” gathered together legal practitioners and scholars from across the country to discuss and analyze a variety of issues relating to the history of the jury, jury selection and representation, the 6th Amendment and non-unanimous juries, and the role of the jury as a political and cultural institution. Professor Graw Leary participated in the panel, “The Jury as a Political and Cultural Institution,” in which she discussed her paper "Is the #MeToo Movement for Real? Implications For Jurors' Biases in Sexual Assualt Cases."
