Catholic Law alumnus Stanley Woodward ’08, the President of the Alumni Association and an Adjunct Professor, has been nominated by the D.C. Judicial Nomination Commission (JNC) to fill a vacancy on the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. Woodward’s recommendation comes following the vacancy created by the retirement of the Honorable Judge Robert E. Morin ’77 who is the immediate past Chief Judge of the Court. Woodward joins a small group eligible for nomination to any vacant seat in the Court by the President of the United States and subject to confirmation by the U.S. Senate.
Woodward has over a decade of legal experience—focused on domestic and international clients’ representation of global compliance issues—and is co-founder of Brand Woodward, Attorneys at Law.
