On December 10, 2020, Catholic Law alumni in Florida kicked off the holiday season with a virtual Christmas gathering. Distinguished guest Guillermo Peasant ’82 and alumnus host Carl A. Fornaris ’93 welcomed the group of alumni to the event.
Despite not being able to meet in person, the event marked an opportunity for alumni to come together and celebrate the holidays together. Dean Stephen C. Payne took the opportunity to address the group. Dean Payne made brief comments on the State-of-the-School—noting that during the fall semester Catholic Law welcomed 1L students to campus with in-person classes and saw the creation of the new Director of Faculty Research position, filled by Professor Cara H. Drinan. Dean Payne concluded by wishing the group a Merry Christmas and happy holidays.
