On the evening of March 18, Catholic Law Student Bar Association (SBA) hosted a panel presentation, “Trust Me I’m (Almost) A Lawyer.” Organized and moderated by SBA 1L representative, Maria Hershey, first-year law students were invited to ask questions about tips for finding summer internships from the panel of 2L students who’ve been through the process. Panelists Bev Diaz, Rick Gomez, Katie Koopman, Tim Richard, and Abby Snelling provided tips and offered advice about the application process, timelines for finding positions, and the importance of making connections.
