In the spirit of the holiday season, and Catholic Law’s unique mission of service, Catholic Law provided gifts to one of its community partners, Little Friends for Peace (LFFP). Gifts were selected off of this year’s giving tree and donated by members of Catholic Law faculty, staff, and students, to fulfill the individual needs of local children and adults supported by the organization. Law students also volunteered their time to help wrap presents and pack gift bags. The long-held, annual tradition was first started by the late Joan Vorrasi and the partnership exemplifies her generosity. This year, the gifts were given in honor of her legacy.
LFFP welcomes youth and adults to experience, learn and practice peace through our various peace education programs. They strive to counter violence and contribute to a worldwide culture of peace by sharing skills to prevent, resolve, and transform conflict with individuals, families, teams, and communities.
