SPIL Stipend, Summer 2020

The SPIL Stipend helped me to discover a passion for public interest law. I was able to intern with the Special Victims Unit of The State Attorney’s Office for Baltimore County. Because of the Stipend, I was able to test the waters and see if a career in prosecution was one I was interested in pursuing. I learned so much, and cannot wait to further my career in the field. Without the Stipend, I never would have gotten the opportunity to learn and grow as a student and future lawyer!
