2021-0817-airForce-JAG-story-785.jpgThe Catholic Law alumni community consists of over 12,000 members worldwide. Our alumni become successful lawyers, federal and state judges, professors, and entrepreneurs—dedicated to working hard for the communities they serve. Whether they attended the law school together or are decades apart, our alumni also find ways to connect with one another, even in the unlikeliest of circumstances.

For Catholic Law alumni, 1st Lieutenants John Morgan ’13 and Paige Markley ’20, their reunion was on Maxwell Air Force Base in Montgomery, Alabama, where both are attending the Air Force’s JAG School. On Tuesday, August 17, during mock trials, Markley had the opportunity to cross-examine Morgan while he was playing a witness in the trial. During the nine-week Judge Advocate Staff Officer Course, those in attendance will learn about military justice and perform mock trials. Additionally, they will learn about civil law, international law and operations, and leadership.
