On the afternoon of April 12, Catholic Law students flocked to the Knights of Columbus Courtyard to enjoy the sunshine and paint potted succulents. The “Easter Paint and Plant” event, sponsored by the Environmental Law Society and organized by Olivia Fabbro-Evans (2L), Rebecca Bermudez (2L), Grace Best (1L), and Samantha Pearl (1L), aimed to provide students with a stress-free, creative outlet before the ramp-up to finals and the end of the spring semester.
Fabbro-Evans shared, “We wanted to plan an event that encouraged law students to find healthy outlets to deal with stress. Nature and creative pursuits are ways that I find joy as it approaches exam season. Luckily, the weather was amazing and we had so much fun!”
A special thanks to Heather Doerr in the Office of Student Life and Special Events for helping to coordinate the event.
