On February 1, members of the Law and Technology Institute Alumni Association (LTIAA), several Law and Technology Institute (LTI) students, and members of the Catholic Law Alumni Office met at Wilkinson Barker Knauer, LLP, in Washington,D.C. for the annual State of the Institute Luncheon. Also on hand were Professor Megan La Belle and Professor Elizabeth Winston, who are the co-directors of LTI.
The event opened with a welcome from current LTIAA president, William Holloway '19, and followed with the traditional introduction, which LTIAA opens each meeting with. Everyone in attendance introduces themselves by sharing their name, current employment, and graduation year. Following introductions Holloway shared some details about past and upcoming events, such as the LTIAA Pay it Forward award and plans for a LTIAA panel discussion to be held at the end of February at Catholic Law. Both La Belle and Winston shared upcoming events at the law school, like the Catholic University Law Review and Journal of Law & Technology Symposiums, as well as law school statistics related to current enrollment.
