On February 26, The Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law's (Catholic Law) Parent Group hosted a picnic at the Law School. The day included a law school tour, picnic, and paper airplane contest, that was launched from the fourth floor of the law school's atrium. The day was designed to show the children of law students where their parents spend time at, and more importantly to have those family members feel a part of their parent's journey.
The Parent Group was formed by students at Catholic Law, who understood the challenges of completing a law school education, while raising a family. The group not only serves as a support structure for its members, but also looks for ways to incorporate the families of the students, faculty, and staff into the Catholic Law Community.
