On February 8, Visiting Assistant Professor Asma Uddin was discussed what leads people to feel threatened by religious freedom for all and why Muslims in the United States are particularly vulnerable to this phenomenon. Uddin also explored solutions to the issue. The talk was hosted by the University of Texas at Austin's Bech-Loughlin First Amendment Center School of Law. She was joined by award-winning journalist Emma Green of The New Yorker, whose writings on religion, politics, and cultural conflicts have won numerous prizes.
