On March 7 and 8, Professor Mary Graw Leary, Senior Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, testified during a public hearing on proposed amendments to the Federal Sentencing Guidelines held by the United States Sentencing Commission. The purpose of the public hearing is for the Commission to receive testimony on proposed amendments related to Firearms, Fake Pills and the First Step Act-Drug Offenses, Circuit Conflicts, Career Offender, and Criminal History. Graw Leary's testimony was related to the amendments on Circuit Conflicts and Criminal History.
