Katherine Olson Receives the 2015 American Bankruptcy Institute Medal of Excellence from Stuart Schept
Katherine Olson, 4E, was awarded the 2015 American Bankruptcy Institute Medal of Excellence for her outstanding performance in bankruptcy coursework. In addition to the medal, Katherine received a Certificate of Excellence in Bankruptcy and a complimentary one-year ABI membership. The American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan association serving more than 12,000 members from the insolvency field. ABI provides bankruptcy professionals with essential resources for business networking, leadership development, education and research.
The ABI Medal of Excellence program was developed by Christopher F. Graham of the New York law firm of McKenna Long & Aldridge and was inaugurated in 1997. The program provides that each participating school can nominate the student with the highest grade in a bankruptcy course or other indicia of bankruptcy scholarship.
Olson was nominated for the award due to her outstanding performance in the Fall 2014 Bankruptcy course at CUA Law.
The administration of this award is handled by the law firm of McKenna, Long & Aldridge. Stuart Schept, Registrar and Director of Academic Services, delivered the award to Olson.
