Roberta (“Bobbi”) Liebenberg '75, a senior partner at Fine, Kaplan and Black, was honored by The National Law Journal as one of the country’s “Elite Women of the Plaintiffs’ Bar” at an awards dinner in New York on July 18, 2019. Ms. Liebenberg focuses her practice on antitrust, class actions, and complex commercial litigation. She has been appointed by courts to serve as Lead Counsel for plaintiff classes in a number of class actions. When she served as Chair of the ABA Commission on Women in the Profession, Ms. Liebenberg co-authored the first-of-its-kind study concerning the under-representation of women as first chairs at trial entitled, “First Chairs at Trial: More Women Need Seats at the Table.”
