On August 20, 2019, the Catholic Law Student Bar Association (SBA) and Evening Law Student Association (ELSA) welcomed Dean and Knights of Columbus Professor of Law Stephen C. Payne with two separate receptions where they served cupcakes and drinks.

The events gave the Dean the opportunity to talk to new and returning students during the first week of classes.
