On December 7, 2022, law students took a much-needed study break, coming together in the Law School café for the 29th Annual Pancake Supper. This year’s supper featured breakfast favorites served by some of the students' favorite professors, deans, and administrators, all of whom volunteered as servers for the evening. This year’s group of volunteers included Associate Dean for Student Affairs and Dean of Students Katie Crowley, Assistant Dean Shani Butts, Professor Lisa Everhart, Assistant Dean Bryan McDermott, Assistant Dean Julie Dietrich, Susan Newell, Professor Lucia Silecchia, Katie Jung, Elizabeth Edinger, Steve Young, Lecturer Elizabeth Kirk, Sister Ruth Harkins, Melissa Kreiling, Len Davidson, and Sandy "Al" Washington.
Students were excited to take a brief break from the stress of law school and finals to enjoy the event which began in 1994—the year the law school building was dedicated. The Annual Pancake Supper is a cherished tradition that marks the end of the fall semester at the Columbus School of Law and is a simple reminder of the supportive community at Catholic Law.
