Taylor Costanzo '22, Associate at Groom Law Group, is the recipient of the 2022 Alvin D. Lurie Memorial Award from the American College of Employee Benefits Counsel, Inc. (ACEBC) for her paper entitled “A Dream Deferred: An Analysis of the Current Retirement Landscape and the Changes Needed to Save the American Retirement Dream.”
The ACEBC is dedicated to elevating the standards and advancing the public's understanding of the practice of employee benefits law. In pursuit of this goal, the ACEBC encourages the study and development of employee benefits laws, initiates professional discussions of significant employee benefits issues and sponsors an extensive list of Continuing Legal Education programs.
The ACEBC's writing competition’s award winners are selected each year by the ACEBC Writing Competition Committee from among eligible submissions. Submissions have been received from a wide variety of law schools from across the nation. The Alvin D. Lurie Memorial Award, is funded by ACEBC Fellow Dianne Bennett and other Fellows, in honor of Alvin D. (Al) Lurie.
