On April 19, 2023, Catholic Law's Office of Career and Professional Development (OCPD) held it's On Campus Interviews (OCI) Bootcamp for 1L law students. The OCI Bootcamp featured a lunch for 1Ls, who were joined by 2Ls and 3Ls who participated in OCI previously. The upper level students shared their experience and provided advice about how to prepare for the upcoming recruiting season. During the bootcamp, OCPD also shared the OCI requirements, a list of employers, and the OCI schedule with the 1Ls in attendance.

OCPD is dedicated to assisting students in search of internship and externship opportunities during school, employment after graduation, and career advice for the rest of their lives. Staffed by career planning professionals with advanced degrees in law, the office provides individual and group counseling, workshops, panels, instructional materials, and job listings as well as activities that facilitate direct contact with prospective employers. The OCI Bootcamp was part of a series of professional development programs held by OCPD for the 1L class.
