The Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law (Catholic Law) is proud to announce that Tynekia Garrett (4E) was selected by the D.C. Bar as one of its 2023-2024 Writers in Residence. Garrett will assist staff writers and editors in developing and producing content for the Bar’s various media platforms, such as Washington Lawyer Magazine and the Duly Noted blog.

“As an evening student, this opportunity is precious,” Garrett said in response to Catholic Law’s request for comment. “I am grateful for the continuous support of the D.C. Bar to provide opportunities to all students and give evening students the flexibility to participate.”

“As a Writer in Residence, my goal is to produce content that is easily digestible for the legal community while being thought-provoking and exciting,” she continued. “I encourage The Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law community to be on the lookout for content!”
