Leah Wortham, professor emerita, at The Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law (Catholic Law) and director of its International Business and Trade Summer Law Program (IBTSLP) recently worked with the Olesiński i Wspólnicy (OW) law firm in Warsaw to host a Roundtable to share experience on externship good practices. In addition to those attending in person, sixteen host placement representatives joined online for presentations from four firms in which Catholic Law students have had summer work experiences from as early as 2008.

During her time in Poland, Wortham presented appreciation plaques to host firm, Olesiński i Wspólnicy and Domański Zakrzewski Palinka (DZP), Kubas Kos Gałkowski (KKG), and PwC Legal in recognition of their long-standing support for the IBTSLP. These four firms, as well as DWF and B2Rlaw, also received certificates thanking them for their contribution to nine Catholic Law students who worked with the firms in summer 2023.
