Chad Squitieri of The Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law (Catholic Law) spoke at a panel jointly hosted by the Pacific Legal Foundation and the
Harvard Journal of Law & Public Policy. The conference, entitled “Doctrinal Crossroads: Major Questions, Nondelegation & Chevron Deference,” occurred on January 25, 2024, and included four panel discussions. Squitieri spoke on the first panel, which was moderated by Judge Gregory G. Katsas of the United States Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit. Squitieri's comments focused on his forthcoming essay, “Placing Legal Context in Context,” which is available for viewing
online. In the essay, Squitieri discusses Justice Amy Coney Barrett's recent judicial opinion addressing the Major Questions Doctrine.
