Amy S. Mushahwar ’05, an alumna of The Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law (Catholic Law) who for nearly two decades has developed a strong expertise in the areas of data privacy and securities law, has joined the Washington, D.C., office of national law firm Lowenstein Sandler LLP as partner. Alongside her new position, she will serve as the firm’s Data, Privacy, & Cybersecurity Chair. In a press release issued by Lowenstein Sandler, Mushahwar’s predecessor as chair noted that “Amy’s stellar credentials will further enhance Lowenstein’s reputation in the nation’s capital and beyond for representing both cutting-edge startups and Fortune 500 companies seeking ways to not only mitigate the risk of cyber breaches, but to prevent their occurrence from the start.”
