Professor Mark Rienzi, Co-Director of Catholic Law’s Center for Religious Liberty and President & CEO of Becket, testified before the House Committee on Education and the Workforce the morning of Wednesday, June 26. As an expert on religious liberty, Rienzi provided testimony regarding how to successfully combat the recent surge of antisemitism in and around places of postsecondary education. Emphasizing this trend’s alarming violation of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Rienzi offered a roadmap by which “federal law can address the problem of antisemitism on college campuses.”
Rienzi’s written testimony is available here. A video recording of the House Committee’s hearing includes his remarks, starting at the 29:20 mark.
