Jo-Ann Farley and Claire Farley Flynn
Catholic Law's 2024 Reunion Weekend commenced with a special ceremony at the Law School, marking the dedication of the Don and Jo-Ann Farley Media Center. Before his passing, Don Farley, J.D. '69, along with his wife, Jo-Ann Farley, B.A. '69, generously donated to Catholic Law to name the media center and to provide ongoing support for maintaining its technology.
The ceremony began with a warm welcome from Dean Stephen C. Payne, followed by a blessing from Reverend Raymond O'Brien. Dean Payne emphasized the importance of the Law School to Don and, in turn, how influential Don was to the institution. After his remarks, Dean Payne introduced Claire Farley Flynn, the couple's daughter, to share her thoughts about her parents. During her speech, Claire reflected on the importance of the Law School to her parents, highlighting her father's deep appreciation for receiving the William Callahan Robinson Award in 2019. Following her heartfelt words, Dean Payne invited Jo-Ann to join Claire in unveiling the plaque that will be displayed outside the newly named Don and Jo-Ann Farley Media Center.
