Calypso Moschochoritis speaking at WBAF eventCatholic Law student Calypso Moschochoritis (2L) was recognized Thursday, October 24, at the Women’s Bar Association Foundation (WBAF) Wine Tasting & Silent Auction. As the WBAF Founders Fellow for 2024, Calypso dedicated her summer to supporting women fleeing political persecution through her work with Ayuda. WBAF President and Catholic Law Alumna Mary Ellen Fleck Kleiman '96 provided opening remarks, after which Calypso addressed the audience, sharing that her summer internship with Ayuda showed her that, “even in high stakes environments, compassion can shine through.”

Also present was Mary Blatch '03, President of the WBA and alumna of Catholic Law. The WBAF Founders Fellowship supports students who work at a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the legal and related needs of women and girls in the DC Metropolitan area.
