The Honorable John Alvin Henderson is an Administrative Law Judge with the United States Department of Justice. He presides over immigration claims and claims of employment discrimination arising under the Immigration and Nationality Act. He has previously served as an Administrative Judge with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and as a Trial Attorney with the same. Judge Henderson is a graduate of Catholic University of America’s Columbus School of Law, and the Georgetown University Law Center. He is the coauthor of several books, including Trial Techniques for the Labor and Employment Law Practitioner, and the MSBA Maryland Employment Law Deskbook. Judge Henderson has held several leadership positions with the American Bar Association’s Section of Labor and Employment Law, and with the Maryland State Bar Association.
