  • Professor Marta Janina Kuklo holds a doctoral degree in law and is an associate professor at the Faculty of Law University of Białystok. She teaches Civil Law, EU Law, and alternative dispute resolution (ADR) methods and was a Director of the Legal Clinic at the Faculty of Law, University of Białystok for many years.

    She cooperates among others with the Polish Bar Council, Polish Legal Clinics Foundation, Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Bialystok as well as with courts in the area of ADR and methodology of teaching law. In 2017, Professor Kuklo received the Senior Fulbright Award (2017) for residence at Catholic Law. In 2006, she was a resident research fellow at Columbia University in New York with a scholarship from the Kosciuszko Foundation and the Public Interest Law Initiative (PILI).

    She has 19 years of fulltime teaching experience in English and Polish of European and American students. She has authored or co-authored more than 90 publications and was a guest speaker and active participant of more than 40 international, national conferences and lectures. Professor Kuklo is an active mediator, trainer, and expert in ADR, Clinical Legal Education, as well as Civil Law.
