Michelle Lease heads Global Technology Policy and Regulatory Affairs for Intuit where she shapes the company’s public policy priorities for privacy, security, artificial intelligence, intellectual property, and other tech issues. Prior to Intuit, Michelle was a Senior Privacy Consultant and Public Policy Program Manager at Ernst & Young where she shaped privacy policy and advised clients on compliance with global data privacy laws including the EU General Data Protection Regulation. Michelle also served as Policy Counsel at the Application Developers Alliance where she advocated on behalf of app developers and startups on a variety of issues from privacy, encryption, patent trolls, and the sharing economy. Michelle received her J.D. from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Government from George Mason University. She is a Northern Virginia native and lives in Falls Church with her husband and two dogs.
Ms. Lease served on her 2014 Class Reunion Committee and is a member of the CUA Law Alumni Council.
