On February 8, 2021, Baker Botts L.L.P. announced that Catholic Law alumna Alexandra Dapolito Dunn ’94 has joined the firm’s Environmental, Safety & Incident Response (ESIR) Section of the Litigation Department in the Washington, D.C. office. Baker Botts is a leading international energy, technology, and life sciences law firm.
Dunn is the former Assistant Administrator for the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Office of Chemical Safety and Pollution Prevention. Before joining the EPA in 2017, Dunn was the Executive Director and General Counsel of the Environmental Council of the States (ECOS), a non-profit environmental trade group that represents the interests of state environmental agency heads on matters of environmental law and policy. She also was the Dean of Environmental Law Programs and an Adjunct Professor of Law in environmental justice at the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University.
