On Friday, September 13, Lucia Silecchia, Associate Dean of Faculty Research and Professor of Law at Catholic Law, spoke at the 2024 Religiously Affiliated Law School Conference held at Fordham Law School. This biennial event gathers faculty and administrators from religiously affiliated law schools to engage in meaningful discussions on relevant topics. This year’s theme was "Forming Lawyer-Stewards: The Special Role of Religiously Affiliated Law Schools." Silecchia presented on "Stewardship and Caring for the Environment," providing insights into Catholic social teaching on ecological stewardship and its broader implications.
