CICR Alumni and leadership team
From L to R: Patrick Burke, Lauren Sormani, Sarah Duggin, and John Polanin

The Compliance, Investigations, and Corporate Responsibility (CICR) Program recently hosted the CICR Alumni and Student Celebration at Murphy's Grill, marking the official launch of the new CICR Alumni Association. Attendees were welcomed by CICR Director Sarah Duggin and Associate Director John Polanin.

Sarah DugginDuring the event, Professor Duggin announced the inaugural leadership team for the CICR Alumni Association: Patrick Burke ’19, Attorney for the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Washington, and Lauren Sormani ’21, Associate Counsel at Biohaven Pharmaceuticals. Both are graduates of the CICR Program and will play a key role in shaping the organization.

This new alumni group builds on the strong tradition of supportive, connected networks established by other certificate programs, some of which boast over 20 years of history. Although the CICR Program is only in its sixth year, it has already developed a growing network of Catholic Law alumni and friends working in the areas of compliance, investigations and corporate responsibility who are eager to support and guide future program graduates.
