Rachel Lawrence joined The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law (Catholic Law) in October 2016. As Associate Director for Pro Bono & Public Interest Career Development in the Office of Career and Professional Development (OCPD), Rachel is responsible for helping students develop the public service ethos they will need as future lawyers. Rachel received her BA in Sociology and Anthropology from St. Mary's College of Maryland and JD from the University of the District of Columbia, David A. Clarke School of Law where she graduated cum laude and served as Associate Editor of the UDC Law Review. Rachel is admitted to practice law in Maryland.
Before law school she worked in the Development office at the American Red Cross and since joining Catholic Law in 2016, she has worked in Experiential Learning, Academic Affairs, and OCPD. Rachel rejoined OCPD in March of 2022 after serving as a Tax Specialist with the IRS.
Rachel and her husband Nathan live in Washington, DC with their two sons.
